InvoiceMonger Terms and Conditions

InvoiceMonger is currently offered as a beta service for testing and evaluation purposes.

By creating an account or using the InvoiceMonger service, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.


Beta Service Notice

The service is provided on an experimental, beta basis and may contain bugs, errors, or interruptions.

Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time without notice. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued entirely at any time without prior notice.

InvoiceMonger makes no guarantees regarding availability, uptime, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the service for any purpose.


Pricing Disclosure

The service is currently free during the beta period.

After the beta period and a free trial of at least 30 days, the planned price for continued use of the service is $10 CAD per month (billed annually).

Pricing, billing terms, and service availability are subject to change at any time without notice, and the service may also be modified or discontinued entirely.

Participation in the beta does not guarantee future access to the service or pricing.


User Responsibility

Users are responsible for reviewing any invoices, documents, or communications generated by the system before sending them to clients.

Users are also responsible for maintaining their own records and backups of invoices, client data, and financial information. InvoiceMonger should not be relied upon as the sole storage location for important business records.


Acceptable Use

Users agree not to use InvoiceMonger for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.

The operator of InvoiceMonger reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time if the service is used in a way that violates applicable laws or these terms.


No Professional or Financial Advice

InvoiceMonger provides software tools for generating invoices and managing billing information. The service does not provide accounting, financial, tax, or legal advice.

Users remain fully responsible for ensuring that invoices, pricing, taxes, and payment terms comply with applicable laws and business requirements.


Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceMonger and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to financial losses, missed payments, business interruptions, lost profits, or data loss resulting from the use of the service.

Use of the service is entirely at the user’s own risk.


Data and Service Availability

InvoiceMonger does not guarantee permanent storage of user data. Data may be modified, removed, or lost as part of normal operation, beta testing, or service shutdown.

Users are responsible for exporting or backing up any information they wish to retain.


Open-Source Software

InvoiceMonger is an independent project that utilizes open-source software components, including the InvoicePlane invoicing platform.


Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
